When I die

A little girl with red hair
Playing aroud on a bike she cares
A dog barks, she falls, she wails,
She might be hurt but I don’t care

And I’m sitting there just nearby
Wondering what will I think when I die?

This clumsy country guy from Colorado,
Getting freaking lost in New York ghetto
Asking bashfully for a place to go
But I won’t take time to help you my bro.

And I’m sitting there just nearby
Wondering what will I think when I die?

The old lady pushing her breaking trolley
Collecting plastic bottles to have just a penny
She’s one in a million in this big city
I don’t glance at her, I don’t want to see.

And I’m sitting there just nearby
Wondering what will I think when I die?

And I’m alone in the middle of this crowd
Afraid of the dark, afraid of the empty road
I don’t have faith in what is above.
I don’t have faith in any kind of love.

And I’m sitting there just nearby
Wondering what can I hope when I die?
